Just finished this. Story in Afar Magazine about a guy who was traveling through Mongolia in a Soviet-era bus with 26 other passengers and their assorted livestock. He found himself in a transcendent state. Not sure I would have responded that way…

Driving on some quiet old backroads in Dutchess County, heading for Rhinebeck, it’s a mixed bag of estates, farms, trailers and beautiful/awful abandoned old businesses. I passed this place then circled back for a better look. Love this stuff. This drawing took me a solid week. How do you draw rust?
